Melvyn's Story...
Hello. My name is Melvyn. I am one handsome guy looking for a forever home. I have been around other cats and dogs. My human moved to a smaller home and my dog friend passed away, so with all the changes, the other cat and I were having some problems getting along. That is how I came to be at TCRAS. I can be shy at first, but once we get to know each other, I know we can be best friends. Please come and meet me, so we can start our new life together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Melvyn, a Divide Norwegian Forest Cat cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Forest Cat for sale in Divide, or seeking a Norwegian Forest Cat cat from a breeder in Divide.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Divide already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Divide breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Forest Cat breeders who help with Norwegian Forest Cat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Divide paves the way for another one to be saved.
