Kiwi's Story...
This adorable little guy is Kiwi, a min pin/terrier mix that is a little over a year old and would just love a great home of his own. Kiwi came to us from our Newark facility after he was turned in by his family who simply stated that they could no longer care for him. Kiwi had a cold when he arrived and some skin irritation too but after spending several weeks getting lots of good care, he's doing great and ready to move on to a wonderful home. Kiwi is a little guy with a big personality. He thinks he's a big guy and doesn't think twice about barking at a dog much bigger than him that walking by, although they usually just laugh at him and keep on going. Kiwi is a little sweetheart and once he gets to know you, he's your best friend for life. He's well behaved and sweet, but he's puppyish and playful too, so he would love a home where he will get playtime and exercise. He seems excited to meet other dogs and may be perfectly fine with them, given the chance to get to know them. Kiwi would love to be a part of your family if you give him the chance.
