Harley's Story...
Ready to rev your engines on a frosty Monday morning!? Say hello to HARLEY!!! This 4-month-old mix (we have no idea what she is truthfully pittie/hound? Mountain Cur mix? Really, really cute? Well…that one is a definite!) little girl joined our rescue this weekend and we are already smitten. She’s the type of pup you can just throw into the mix and she fits right in! She loves to play with other dogs (she truly has the most textbook play bow we’ve seen!), is outgoing and sweet with humans and knows no stranger (as long as you don’t mind some serious tail wagging and kissing action!), and is proving to have quite the handle on housebreaking already. Harley is a great little pup ready to start the rest of her life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Newtown Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Newtown, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
