My story

PLEASE GIVE A WARM WELCOME TO MISS LADY BIRD!
My name is Lady Bird, and I’m one of the newest member to the WRNT family. I was at a shelter up near the Oklahoma border and an all-breed rescue group took me in because I was on the Euthanasia list (yikes!) They got me to WRNT and I’m ready to start my new life. Just like a more famous Lady Bird, I’m a beautiful southern belle! The first picture shows me when I was taken from the shelter, and the second picture shows what I look like now.
I’m about 6 years young, and was just spayed, had an umbilical hernia repaired and had a small bump removed from my head. During the surgery it was also discovered I had serious teeth decay so I had to have 12 teeth pulled. None of that has slowed me down a bit! In a few weeks when I’m a little healthier I’ll go in to get all my vaccinations and then I’ll be looking for my forever home!
I’m only about 13 pounds, very loving, and get along great with my four-legged foster brothers and sisters. If you want someone to cuddle with you on the couch, I’m your girl! I’m active and adventuresome so I’d love a home that will take me for lots of fun walks!
Like Lady Bird Johnson’s beautiful passion, Bluebonnets, I just need some warmth and TLC to blossom!
