Important Note

Kiya & Gracie #2 is best friends with Gracie #2 & Kiya. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
KIYA is a 5 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 89 pounds. Kiya and Gracie are very bonded sisters and need to be adopted together. Kiya is a sweet and gentle gal looking for a new family to love! She has an adorable face with large muzzle, beautiful brown eyes, and short floppy ears. She was surrendered to the shelter by her owner. She is house trained. She is affectionate and loving. She is good with other dogs and previously lived with Gracie. Gracie and Kiya were surrendered to the shelter after owner passed away. She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!

Update: Now that Gracie and Kiya are feeling better, they enjoy chasing each other around the yard. They walk okay on the leash, but Gracie zigzags in front of you. They're both improving with their leash manners. Gracie has learned to steal the ball and run away with it just so the resident dog can't have it. These two continue to learn commands and Gracies fur is coming in. They will make someone very happy. They're beautiful girls with a few rough edges that need to be polished

Update: If one Lab is good, then a bonded pair is great! Gracie and Kiya are affectionate sweethearts who are well behaved in the house and quickly warmed up to the resident dog. Gracie is getting medicated baths for a skin infection and looks better every day as her fur continues to grow back. Kiya has proven to be more confident and vocal and often looks after Gracie by routinely checking on her. Gracie can be nervous in unfamiliar situations and finds comfort hanging out in her open crate. They are getting used to their crates, especially the treats! Kiya enjoys racing around exploring the backyard and will try to find the biggest stick to carry while Gracie has a more refined elegance about her. With their sweet, gentle, affectionate demeanor, these pups are easy to love!
