Snickers's Story...
Snickers is a beautiful and very fluffy kitty. She came to us from another rescue and we are still learning her quirks, of which she has a few. Born June 2013, Snickers is an outgoing girl. She will let you know when she would like attention and let you know when she's had enough. She likes to be pet, but does not like being picked up at this time. We are also not yet sure how she is with other cats, dogs or kids. Talk to a staff person when you come to meet Snickers who can help you get to know her better. This girl really isn't a big fan of the shelter life and would love to find a home where she can feel comfortable and loved. You can meet Snickers at PET KRAZE in Branmar Plaza where she is currently staying.

Snickers is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met. For more information, please give us a call at (302) 571-0111 or visit us at our center (701 A Street Wilmington, DE) Tuesday-Friday 12-7pm or Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snickers, a Wilmington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
