Molly's Story...
Molly is an adorable 9 week old black lab mix. She's 15 lbs now so she'll grow up to be on the large side, probably typical lab size. She's very sweet, cuddly, and playful. Molly is learning to be crate trained and house trained but at her age she obviously will need her family to keep working on it. If you'd like to make Molly a part of your family email SouthernDogRescue@yahoo.com for an application. Her adoption fee is $700 and includes all vetting and transport costs

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Glastonbury Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
