My name is Willie. I am a sweet senior looking for love at the age of 11 years young. For some strange reason, my first human mom had me declawed in both the front and the back paws. Usually this makes cats bite, since I have no other defense now. Luckily, I have a very sweet and forgiving personality, and I did not turn aggressive, even after the pain of my declaw surgery. I was born in Ohio, but I have also gotten to live in beautiful Alaska for a while. Sadly during my travels, my first family left me alone with my sister in an empty condo while it was being remodeled. Our human stopped by every day to feed us, but all that loneliness and the noise from the remodel really took a toll on us, so I have a tendency of being a bit of a scaredy-cat. I love my people, but I usually hide under the bed when new people come by. Once I get to know my family, I love to sit next to them on the couch and get lots of under the chin pets. Since I have no claws to protect myself, I am a strictly indoor only cat. I like to look out the window, but have no interest in venturing out the door. I am well litter box trained and like to use scoopable litter. Recently I have started talking more, usually hoping that my human’s will give me more tasty treats! I grew up with my sister, so I think I would do ok living with another cat. My sister was the boss of the house, but I have stepped up and been bolder since losing her. I would love a human who likes spending time on the couch so I can snuggle and get lots of pets. I am neutered, up to date on shots, ear mite treated, and microchipped. My adoption fee of only $60 includes a free vet visit and 30 days of pet insurance. To meet me, contact my foster mom, Jade, at 623-466-4790.

Our Adoption Process...

To adopt a dog from Small Dog Rescue we require a legal adoption contract signed, an adoption fee which ranges depending on the dog. All of our dogs are required to be indoor dogs, never to be locked out of the home. We also require all dogs to be returned to us in any event that adopter can not keep.
