found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
I was walking around the streets of Commerce (CA), as I was dumped and abandoned by my master and family. I was hungry, thirsty and frightened as I am not used to being alone on the streets. I walked into a parking lot and was given food and water; there I met my new care takers. I was eventually taken to Forte Animal Rescue and now I am called an “orphan.” After having a family, I do not know what will happen to me, but I now have people taking me on daily walks morning and evening as I love to walk, and I walk well on a leash and understand commands. People say I have an easy-going personality and get along fine with other dogs especially smaller dogs. I do not bark a lot but do so when other dogs bark at me, because I don't have a lot to say aloud, but I have plenty of thoughts and love to share with you if you wish to learn about them! Even though I feel much safer today than I have in a while, I miss having my own bed and a master and family. I hope to have a home soon because I wish to be loved again.
If you are interested in meeting Leonardo, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.
