Facts about Voorhies the Very Sweet

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10783285-Tara
  • Hair: Short

This little boy was rescued on Voorhies Street in Brooklyn—which is how he got his name. He absolutely didn’t belong outdoors, not when he’s so young and gentle. Thankfully, he is now inside where it’s safe and warm, awaiting that special day when he can go to his one-and-only forever home.

A sweet little thing, Voorhies absolutely loves to be cuddled, and he purrs up a storm when it’s snuggling time. He also loves to play—he’s full of kitten energy, as all kittens are—and so he must go to a home with a young, playful cat, or be adopted with another of Brooklyn Animal Action’s many adorable kittens.

Voorhies is neutered, negative for FeLV/FIV, and up to date on vaccines. If you’d like to schedule a playdate with this sweet little nugget, contact Tara Green at catsbkny@gmail.com!

Thank you for thinking of animals in need - your support allows us to help the next furry sweetheart!

All Brooklyn Animal Action dogs and cats are available to foster or adopt.

About Brooklyn Animal Action

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
