Christian is a one-year-old lab mix. He gets very excited and loving when he sees his favorite people. He loves chasing his toys, but most of the time he just leaves them after chasing to go back to his person. He is a very intelligent boy, but rather goofy.
This smart boy walks well on his leash other than a few excited bounces. He answers to the sit, down, shake, roll over and place commands, and seems house trained.
Christian will not do well in a house with children and needs a low traffic home. He would prefer just to live with one or two of his favorite adults. He needs someone who is willing to go through a little extra behavior training with him to make sure he'll be successful in his new home. He will need a little extra guidance and love from his new owners.
Don't forget APA offers free behavioral assistance through APA's behavioral team. This kind of help would be perfect for Christian as he transitions into his new home! If you have questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
