HARRIS's Story...
Hi, my name is Harris and I'm 2 1/2 yrs old neutered male. I'm young and have a lot of energy and am athletic. My former owner would jog 5K with me twice weekly so, while Great Pyrenees are running dogs per say, I enjoy it and can keep up with you. I like other dogs and I'm playful. I'd chase cats if you let me but, I'm not mean. I play a little rough so I wouldn't be good in a home with small children. I've had a good amount of training and know commands. I like going for walks, and runs and rides in the car. I'd make a great family dog in a home with older kids or an active retired home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HARRIS, a Granite Bay Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Granite Bay, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Granite Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Granite Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Granite Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Granite Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
