Pumpkin, and her brother, Spice, were humanely trapped during a Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) project in Anne Arundel County. They were living in a very small wooded area, behind a Royal Farms, and directly next to the light rail. It was no place for these sweet babies to call home. When Pumpkin and her brother entered our program, they had never been handled by people and were quite frightened. However, they were placed in a loving foster home and Pumpkin has blossomed into a an absolute doll. While still on the shy side, she now rolls over for belly rubs and affectionately licks your fingers. This little sweetheart would likely need a little extra time to settle into her forever home, but she will make a loving pet for a very lucky family.
While not required, we would love to see Pumpkin adopted with her brother, Spice. They love to snuggle with one another and we believe it would greatly benefit both of them while settling into a new home. Applications to adopt both kitties together will be given priority.
