My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chilton is approx 1 year old and 13 lbs. He looks like a maltese /havanese mix. He was very matted when we rescued him and had to be shaved down. His coat is growing back pretty fast and it is beautiful and soft. He will need grooming on a regular basis. He is a very sweet dog. He gets along really well with his buddies. He does love being with people and has some separation anxiety if he sees you and can't be with you. He likes knowing you are close by but overall doing really well and is adjusting very quickly. He could do with a buddy for company and would not doing well being left alone all day. He still needs some leash and house training but is learning pretty quickly. He would make a great companion for someone as he is very sweet and loving.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in TX in foster care.
