Mimosa (fee waived)'s Story...
Are you a cat whisperer? If so, Mimosa may be the cat for you. Her adoption fee will be waived for the perfect adopter. Here is a little about Mimosa. "My name is Mimosa and I am a work in progress. I was part of a colony in Soddy Daisy and I had a litter of kittens in the bushes. My kittens are all adopted now, but I am still a little nervous about people. I like the other cats and they keep me company. Sometimes I feel brave and I will go up to a person and let them pet me, but then I get scared and it may take awhile before I try it again. I think someday I can trust people, but it may take time. I would like to find a home where people will be kind and patient with me until I can trust them. I have been inside since May and I use the litter box all the time. I might like to be outside some, but not until I am sure where my new home is."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimosa (fee waived), a Chattanooga Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
