Shadow's Story...
Hi There...I'm Shadow and I was originally surrendered in August 2015 after living in the same home for 5 1/2 years. When my person moved in with someone with cats she brought me here because I wasn't doing well with the cats. I was adopted but have now returned because my adopter moved a nursing home. So most of this memo is based on information provided by my original person. I'm a very active social girl with a history of doing well with the children I was around and the dog in my home. I'm very playful, know quite a few commands, love car rides and love to cuddle. And please don't just leave me alone in the yard for long periods because it's lonely and boring out there and I might do some misbehaving. It would be a lot of fun, though, if we could spend some time outside together playing and taking some walks. I just need a little more help with potty training, but we can work on that with a routine, scheduled meals and lots of positive reinforcement when I'm successful. So if you're looking for an active girl who loves to cuddle and you don't have cats, please come in and see if I just might be the one you're looking for.
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, up to date immunizations, nationally recognized microchip and more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Evansville Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Beagle for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Beagle dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Beagle breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
