Ariel is a 2 year old Shih Tzu mix. We are not sure what her exact breed is? She weighs 14.7 pounds at this time.
This sweet girl was a stray that we got a call about a couple of weeks ago. She was hanging out with some feral cats and wouldn't come to anyone. We asked the person that found her to do their best to win her over. It took some time but she was finally able to get her to come to her.
We took her right to the vet where we had her evaluated. She has mastitis so she most likely had puppies at some time. She has a flea allergy and was infested with hook worms.
Ariel is learning to trust humans now and is on medication to help with her health issues.
We haven't tested her with dogs or kids yet, but feel she would do best in a home with adults. She is not house trained yet and we cannot guarantee that she would be hypoallergenic.
She needs a fenced yard for her safety when outdoors.
