Kiya is a tri-colored Rottweiler and Border Collie mixed breed canine who is 5 years old. She came to us from a previous home and is now looking for her new loving home! Kiya is a sweet and loving dog that loves to run and play outdoors, and she had been living with other dogs previously that she could play with. She can be shy when meeting new people at first, and she is looking for a home environment that will be capable of helping her adjust into her new life and surroundings. Kiya does not do well with young children, and she does like to chase wildlife. She already knows the commands for sit, shake, lay down, speak, and come. She had been living with a cat previously, but she does like to play rough. Once she has become comfortable with a new friend, she is a very loyal and loving dog that enjoys being pet and given attention. She has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. If you are interested in adoption, and you think Kiya might be a good fit for your family and lifestyle, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or give us a call at 218-722-5341 for more information!

Our Adoption Process...

Animal Allies has variable adoption fees. A higher adoption fee does not mean that we value a particular animal over another; it is simply a matter of supply and demand. Animals that are in higher demand and are adopted quickly have higher adoption fees, which then create a financial legacy for the animals that stay in our care for a longer period of time. Animal Allies accepts cash, personal checks, money orders, and VISA/MC/Discover. Adoption fees are subject to a Duluth sales tax rate of 8.375%. As a convenience for Duluth residents we are able to assist with your license application at the time of adoption. The City of Duluth pet license fee is $10.00 per year and if you apply for your pet license at our facility, we add an additional $2.50 convenience fee.

CAT ADOPTION FEES
Cat and kitten fees range from $25 to $175. Feline adoption fees include: microchip and registration, medical exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, spaying/neutering, fecal and feline leukemia/FIV testing.

DOG ADOPTION FEES
The adoption fees for dogs and puppies range from $75 to $500. Please see the animal descriptions for individual adoption fees. Fees for dogs are based on a number of factors such as age, size, breed, or temperament. Canine adoption fees include: microchip and registration, medical exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, spaying/neutering, fecal exam, flea and tick treatments, and heartworm testing.
