My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jag is an eight year old cat who was given up when his family could no longer provide for his basic care. He loves to be with people and will gladly curl up with you. His favorite pastime is spending time with his foster family on the couch while watching the outside world though the windows. Jag was once an outdoor cat and he still enjoys listening to the sounds from outside. In his previous homes, he lived with dogs, cats, and older children. He would likely do well in this environment again if given time to adjust. He has a lot of love to offer and would do best in a family that wants to spend time with him.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
