Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"TUCKER" NEEDS A TEMPORARY FOSTER HOME WHERE HE CAN RECUPERATE FROM SURGERY ...
"Tucker" is a sweet 2-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on November 8, 2016 after a Good Samaritan found him in the vicinity of the Marietta College Campus (Marietta Ohio). This handsome boy had an apparent injury to his right leg/hip area and was taken to one of our local veterinarians the following day. The diagnosis was that Tucker had suffered an unknown injury which had shattered his hip, and he underwent surgery soon thereafter. "Tucker" is now back in our shelter and is recuperating from his surgery. We are seeking a temporary foster home for "Tucker" so that he can continue his recuperation period and enjoy some R&R in a quiet peaceful environment instead of in a small cage in our shelter.
"Tucker" has a calm, gentle disposition and is quite friendly. He has been given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment.
The shelter will provide everything that Tucker would need (food, litter, and a large floor crate). His foster family would provide the love and TLC until "Tucker" is ready to return to the shelter or to go to a permanent adopted home.
"Tucker" is also available for rescue .. Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.
