Meet Scarlett! This sweet girl came to us as an owner surrender. Scarlett is a 5-week-old miniature spaniel/JRT mix. She will be a small dog full-grown. Scarlett is very affectionate and friendly. She is an active girl who loves to play and explore. Scarlett is just a baby, so she needs a patient adopter to continue her house and crate-training. She does well with kids, cats, and other dogs.

Scarlett will be ready to go home in 3-4 weeks (between December 4th-11th). Scarlett's adoption fee is $350 to cover the cost of her care and vetting. Prior to adoption, Scarlett will be spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for DHLPP and Bordatella, wormed with Drontal dewormer, given a fecal test, given a nail trim, and given monthly Revolution for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If she is adopted before she is 12-weeks-old, adopters will be responsible for her Rabies vaccination.

To adopt Scarlett, we require that you are at least 21-years-old and own your home. Any current pets must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention. We do conduct a veterinary records check to verify this. If you are interested in adopting Scarlett, please email lovebugsrescue@gmail.com for an adoption application. Thank you!

About Little Love Bugs Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Little Love Bugs Rescue was founded by a group of friends with a commitment to saving the lives of animals within Northeastern Ohio. Little Love Bugs Rescue is a private, non-profit, animal rescue. We are currently in the process of filing for our 501c3 tax-exempt status. Little Love Bugs Rescue is run out of the homes of volunteers. We do not have a shelter. All of our rescued animals are in foster homes being loved, nurtured, and evaluated by volunteers. If you would like to visit any of our adoptable dogs or cats, please email us and we can set up a time to meet after your adoption application has been approved.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting one of our rescued pets, please email us at lovebugsrescue@aol.com. All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application. Once your application is completed, please be patient. The application is processed by one of our volunteers who will email you back within a day to confirm that we received your application. The volunteer will then check with your veterinarian to make sure that all of your pets are/were up-to-date on their vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heartworm prevention. The volunteer will call you to talk with you more about the pet that you are interested in adopting, and to make sure that you are a good fit. After everything checks out, we can set up a meet and greet with the dog or cat you are interested in adopting. Please only apply to adopt one of our rescued pets if you are willing and able to make a lifetime commitment to a pet. We give the highest quality of care to all of our fosters, and we have adoption requirements in place to make sure that all of our dogs and cats go to loving homes. We work very closely to match you with the right new family member. All dogs and cats are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption fees are non-refundable. We require that you are at least 21-years-old and that you live in Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Michigan to adopt one of our rescued pets. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
