Facts about HANK

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
HANK is yet another victim of abandonment. He was found deserted on a country road, extremely thin and frightened. Hank is in a loving foster home right now and is gaining weight and learning to trust.

Hank is extremely affectionate and leans into you for comfort and love. He seems to get along with other dogs but he is still recuperating and will need a VERY patient and supportive family. Since we do not know Hank's history, perhaps very young children might not be the best idea. As we continue to evaluate him we will add more to his bio.

About Companion Animal Network

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a volunteer-based 501c3 organization formed in 2002. Over the years, we have rescued dogs from shelters all over the state, we have taken in abandoned dogs and we have accepted dogs from owners who were unable to continue to care for their pets. Thousands of adoptable pets die each year due to overpopulation and lack of options.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently we do not have scheduled functions.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an adoption application to complete and return. Our review process generally takes 1-2 days. Upon approval we would contact you to arrange a home visit and bring the dog to meet you and your family. (If out of state, we have local groups that would contact you for a home visit without the dog.)
