Hi my name is Tigger! I am a 2 year old male who loves his treats! When I first came into the shelter, I was very timid and cautious but after socialization and patience from the volunteers and the animal control officers, I've come out of my shell. I love going on my walks and hanging out with the volunteers. I am very treat motivated and love my food! I would do best in a home with no other animals, dogs or cats and small children might not be a good fit because of my energy level. I would love a fenced in yard to run around in and a new family to call my own. If you think you're a good match, come meet me! I am available for adoption now from Oceana County Animal Shelter. If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact persons in the order they are on the list. ** Ask about possible Adoption Transportation assistance if you are not in the local area.** The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccination.
Animal Control Staff Currently, we have only two county employees who work within the Department of Animal Control. Both are highly qualified and caring individuals.
