Zeus's Story...
This is Zeus! He's a sweet 6 year old Min Pin/Chihuahua mix. Zeus was adopted 10 months ago and recently returned. His owner moved into a new home and he started pottying in the house. Before the move she said he was perfectly house trained. Zeus lived with a cat and tolerated it. There was a dog that lived next door and they were friendly with each other. Zeus is a social boy that is people friendly. He would love to find his forever home ASAP.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a Elyria Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
