The word “mulligan” means “second chance” in the game of golf; this Mulligan surely deserves a second chance in a new home! Mulligan is a sweet and affectionate boy! He came to us from a shelter where he was shaved because his coat was in very bad shape. When it grows back in he will have a luxurious rough collie coat!
Mulligan would be a great family dog! He gets along with everybody – dogs, cats, and kids! He has a such sweet personality. Mulligan is a homebody and prefers to be inside with his family. He enjoys laying out in the yard if someone is out there with him, but he doesn’t want to stay outside alone. In the house he sticks close to his foster mom. He follows her around and is curious about everything she does.
Mulligan is a smart guy, who loves treats, and knows many basic obedience commands! He needs to work a bit on leash manners, as he pulls when walking. He rides well in the car and has good house manners. He gets along great with other dogs and previously lived in a home with a small dog. His foster home has dogs and cats and he is fine with both.
Mulligan is an easy going, adaptable dog and will settle into a new home quickly and easily!
