Nacho and his brother, Cheddar came to us in October, when they were barely 2 months old. These scared, shy babies cling to each other for comfort and security. It's not easy being homeless, especially when you're brand new to the world and don't understand what's happening around you. The boys don't need to be adopted together, but wouldn't it be wonderful if that were to happen? With patience, time and plenty of TLC, Nacho and Cheddar will loosen up and learn what fun and play time are all about.
All of the dogs/cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Adoption fees are $245 for dogs ($95 for Seniors 8 years+) and $60 for cats, to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter of all adoptable pets as well as getting them up-to-date on their basic vaccinations, and for starting heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Puppies and kittens will go into adoptive homes as Foster-to-Adopt until old enough to have spay/neuter surgery. No pet will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).
We will require an approved on-line application which is available on our website at ForeverLoveRescue.com. Be prepared for a Meet-and-Greet and a basic home check to be done on or before adoption day, to ensure that the pet can be safe in the new home and that everyone involved is comfortable with each other.
