Despite his rough beginnings, this dog is amazing! He has been in his foster home for 2 weeks and is already potty trained, crate trained and absolutely adaptable in a home environment. He shares his foster home with a large breed male dog, two adults, and two children ages 10 and 16. He does great will all of them. His foster home also has cats that are separated from the dogs due to disagreements with the larger breed dog. However, Lucas has been exposed repeatedly to their territory, and while he is curious, he has been non-reactive while on a leash supervised.
In the house, he is very happy to sit by you, play with a toy or chew on a bone. He is very self-amused, but if you engage him get ready for a barrage of kisses and tail wags! This is a Happy Boy, who is so grateful to be out of a shelter and into a home with grass, comfy beds and people to love him! YOU want to get to know this Boy while he is still a puppy. Puppy love is the best!
