MEET  CHARLIE!!!!!

This sweet, shy boy is a bit smaller than the average Shepherd, with a very soft coat. , He is inquisitive, playful, gentle, funny and an all around happy-go-lucky boy!!

Charlie is a little bit shy about the world and when meeting new people. But he warms up as he gets to know his new surroundings. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, and is about as non-aggressive as a dog can get. He's super with other dogs, and should do well with kids, although they should be older, as younger kids may scare him.

Charlie is already housebroken and he LOVES to play with a ball and chew toys. He's a GREAT fetch dog!   Charlie is curious with cats, but tends to basically avoid them. Charlie is highly trainable, eager to please, and learns new things VERY quickly.  He's an affectionate boy who is very gentle and has a mild-mannered demeanor.

About Underdog Rescue of Arizona

About Our Rescue Group...

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.
