Layla was left behind in a local neighborhood when her owners moved away and put her outside. The neighbors kindly took to feeding her as an outdoor cat and didn't realize that she had not yet been spayed until she was very pregnant. They asked us for help and she delivered 5 kittens only 5 days after going to her foster home.
Now Layla is waiting for a real home with a family that will love and care for her. Her loving demeanor showed during her last photo session where she rolled all over the satin fabric we had laid out and purred happily for each picture. She has a calm and loving personality but also still frisky enough to get excited when the feather wand appears. She has the prettiest Torbie markings and weighs about 9 pounds. She was born in March of 2011 and just wants a place and family to call her own.
The kittens were all named after characters from an old movie called Rascal the Raccoon. They were born on August 2nd, 2016. Layla was such a great mom to them all and they are all such fun and loving kittens. Their names are Rascal, Martha Conway, Flora Stevenson, Jessica North, and Clarissa Stevenson:)
The adoption fee is $50 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, FELV/FIV test, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, and spay or neuter.
