I know my competition is stiff, since there are so many of us little Chihuahuas, but I assure you I am special! I'm named Bernie and about 10 months old and 8lbs. I love attention and am super smart. I'd be really happy if you took me to dog classes to learn lots. I don't like to share your attention, so would be happiest being the center of your house. I can live with other dogs, but really just want all eyes on me. I am sweet and love to walk and just be with people. Please consider meeting me.
Paws on the Ground Colorado was founded in 2016 by a group of dedicated advocates who envisioned a puppy mill free Colorado. We are a 501c3 organization dedicated to ending puppy mill commerce in Colorado. We are helping a local pet store offer rescue puppies & kittens in the store and transition to a humane model, as well as fostering and adopting out animals in need.
Come Meet Our Pets...
Dogs & cats listed on Adopt-A-Pet are in foster homes and available for adoption through Paws on the Ground. Once we receive your application we will contact you. Please visit our website for more information www.pawsonthegroundcolorado.com
Some of our rescue puppies and kittens are available for adoption at Perfect Pets in Centennial, CO and will not have individual listings on Adopt-A-Pet.
Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fees range from $100- $300. Adopters must complete an application found at http://www.pawsonthegroundcolorado.com/adoptable-dogs.html. Our application includes two required references and all animals will be spayed or neutered prior to completion of adoption.
