Facts about Lucy

  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
This girl has really grown on everybody, and we would love to see her go to her forever home already! Lucy is a 4yr old Pit Bull that was surrendered to us a couple months ago by her owner. It had nothing to do with Lucy's owner NOT wanting her, he just knew that the life she had to live with him wasn't fair to her. Lucy was living in NYC and started to become very scared and anxious living in the city. When she first came to us she was very nervous, but now she is a total sweetheart! When Lucy first meets someone she is a little shy, but then she warms up and becomes a totally different dog. She LOVES to run and play, and gets so excited to be let off leash and stretch her legs. She enjoys playing ball, although she's not very good at bringing it back. She lets us take toys from her without an issue. Lucy's previous owner described her as "lazy, sweet, and loves to lie around." so if you're looking for a dog to snuggle with, Lucy fits the bill! She is also crate trained, housebroken, and good with other animals, although if you have other pups a meet and greet is preferred. Lucy is a PERFECT petite size, at about 35lbs. If you're looking for a loving little girl to spoil, look no further than Lucy!

CSA has a "common sense" philosophy regarding food animals, wildlife, research and companion pets. We operate a No-kill Shelter and believe education and community service are our most valuable assets.
