Phoenix was running down a highway when some of our volunteers saw him. They picked him up so he wouldn’t get hit by a car. They then asked nearby neighbors if any of them recognized the dog, but no one did. A DNA test was done on Phoenix, and we discovered he is part cattle dog, akita, Chihuahua, German shepherd, Siberian husky, and basset hound! He is a very sweet boy and loves other dogs. Like most cattle dogs, he is very active and very smart, so he needs to go to a home where he can get a lot of exercise. Phoenix weighs about 30 pounds and his date of birth is 11/13/2015.

Phoenix has been neutered, is current on all vaccines, is on flea & tick prevention, heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and comes with a 30 day pet health guarantee. The adoption fee is $95 with an approved application. Visit to fill out an application. For more information about this animal and other please visit our website at or contact us at 901/854-2565.
