Wow, when I say mystery dog, this one qualifies for sure. This is Betty--and she is a 7 month old female that may be a heeler mix. Regardless of her breed, we do know that Betty is a great gal and full of fun for just the right family. We have had a number of doggies in her kennel, and she always enjoys romping and playing with them. Betty has not been spayed yet, but is on the list. She is loving and would make a great companion dog for a family on one or more. UPDATE: As she grows we feel she is going to be a medium sized doggie. Brenda says she can see some Akita?? Maybe?? More photos soon. Call if interested in Betty--402-846-5100.

About 12 Hills Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

12 Hills Dog Rescue is a no-kill rescue taking in dogs that have been abused or abandoned. We began as a semi-retired couple, and added one part-time person to assist. In 2015 we applied and received our 501c3 non-profit status. We need volunteers to walk, brush and help socialize the dogs that we care for.

Come Meet Our Pets...

12 Hills Dog Rescue asks that you call for appointments to meet our pets. Since the rescue is on our family farm, where we live, we want to have the freedom to choose when those times and dates of adoption are.

We live 30 miles from Sioux City, IA (4 miles from Winnebago) turn left and go east on H Ave. for 2 1/2 miles.
Or 2 miles north of the Walthill community (turn east on H Ave and go 21/2 miles or 12 hills to our farm.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a simple 3 part adoption process. #1.Fill our and return the adoption application form to help us know what type of dog you are interested in. #2. We will attempt to answer your inquiry as soon as possible, and set up an appointment that works for both you and the rescue. #3. Come to the rescue-meet the dog sign the Adoption Agreement, aand take home your dog.
Our fees are very reasonable, usually ranging around $125--$150 for most dogs.
