for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Liam's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Liam's Story...
We have many special cats--once-in-a-lifetime, really. Liam is one such fellow and could not be any more handsome or mellow. He gets along well with people of all ages and other cats and probably would get along with dogs, as well. He loves nothing more than to be petted and his food--Liam loves to eat.

Liam needs a supplement on his meals so that he can digest properly and also takes a B-12 injection. But these requirements are little to ask for such a huge return in love and friendship.

For more information or to see Liam, submit and online cat adoption application at http://hsfc.org/adoptions/applications/online/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liam, a Fairfax Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fairfax, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Fairfax.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfax already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfax breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfax paves the way for another one to be saved.
