Luke- Adoption Pending's Story...
Luke, after being picked up stray, never being reclaimed by his owners, watching his best friend be adopted, and still sitting here at the shelter for almost a month, Luke has become another long resident here at MCAS. Luke is about 4 years old, still having a lot of life to live. We have not noticed any issues with Luke; he gets along with his neighbors, he came in with another dog- so we assuming that he does well with other animals. However, that is not always a guarantee. This cutie deserves a forever home that is willing to be his best friend! If you are interested in this big boy, stop in and ask to meet him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke- Adoption Pending, a Troy Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Troy, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
