Feline/Canine Friends (F/CF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. F/CF rescues, rehabilitates, re-homes and provides sanctuary for special-needs cats and dogs. Many of our special needs cats have FIV or FeLV; plus we have many ferals who have been given a new home and a new life.
We are an all-volunteer group dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and educating people on the importance of spaying and neutering to control the pet population.

Come Meet Our Pets...
If people want to see a certain animal, they can call or email us, and we will make arrangements for you to come and see him/her or we will bring them to see you.
We also set up adoption events whenever we can at different pet stores, etc., although we have no firm dates set up at this time. Check our website for more information.
Our Adoption Process...
You must first fill out an adoption application. Please go to "Site Map" under the home tab and click on the "Forms and applications" tab to find an application. Allow 7-10 days for us to process your application, and a volunteer will contact you. We then arrange for you to meet the pet you have chosen and see if it will be a good match. A volunteer will then come to see your house. If all is well, we have you sign an adoption contract, pay an adoption fee* and you will have a new family member.
All cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and are spayed and neutered.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
