Oreo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Oreo's Story...
Oreo is 2yr old Pointer/Cattle Dog mix (best guess) that was adopted from us as a pup but recently returned. Oreo came back to us because he is NOT good with cats or chickens. Beyond that, this is a fantastic and energetic dog who thoroughly enjoys attention! He is fine with other dogs, and he absolutely loves people. Oreo would likely do great in an active home. He can jump extremely high when he wants to, and is a very athletic pup. If you are looking for an active companion to spend your days with, come meet Oreo!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Broadway German Shorthaired Pointer/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Broadway, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
