My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Candy.....and pretty sweet, so that's where I got my name. I was recently retired from a mill and learning all sorts of new things. I'm just 5 and I love living in a home. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application and remember I need another small dog to learn from and a secure fenced in yard.


All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and DHPP, heartworm tested, treated for worms and fleas and most are microchipped.

We are not a shelter, we are 100% volunteer public charity. All of our dogs are in foster homes until they are adopted. Our adoption fee is on our application. Since we are not a shelter, we do not receive government funding. We are a public charity that relies solely on funds through our adoption fee, fundraisers, and private donations. Since we are 100% volunteer based, all funds collected go directly towards the rescue and vet costs of our dogs.

We take each rescue personally and spend a lot of effort trying to match the right dog to the right family. Thank you for considering one of our rescued dogs.
