Hope is a beautiful 11 month old girl who is one of our Medical Rescue Dogs. Hope arrived at a shelter with a badly mangled leg and lacerations on other parts of her body. When we rescued her, we took her to the finest Orthopedic Specialist where her leg had to be amputated. Two days after the surgery, Hope was playing with stuffed toys! Two weeks after, she is running around the yard with her foster dog friends. Hope is so sweet and loving that she melts your heart! This video was taken Jan 28, 2017 so you can see her play.
** PLEASE NOTE **
You must be at least 23 years old to adopt. You have to fill out an adoption application before we can discuss any of our dogs or puppies with you so we know as much about you as possible. Almost all of our dogs and puppies have pre-approved adopters when they arrive so apply as soon as possible. The application is at http://www.joshuafundrescue.org/adoptionapplication
Since we are a Rescue located many states away from where the dog originates, we know nothing more about the dog than is stated in the above description. We arrange to have every dog vaccinated, spayed/neutered, treated for any condition they may have and IF they have heart worm, it is treated at the Vet near the shelter of origin. Our dogs and puppies are either in foster care or at a boarding boarding facility for their mandatory 21 day quarantine period; longer if they are receiving heart worm treatment. The dogs are professionally transported to Lake Placid, NY
