Hi there, I'm Sunny. I came to the shelter with my pals Sonny and Tommy. I should let you know that I am FIV+ which is an immunodeficiency virus in cats. Don't let that scare you though- many kitties who are FIV+ can live very long healthy lives well into their teens and even 20's! Also, since the virus isn't airborne or spread through litter boxes or the sharing of food and water bowls, it is safe for us to be around other kitties. The virus is most commonly spread from moms to babies and through deep bite wounds and is not contagious to dogs or humans. I can be a bit timid in new situations so my best fit would be in a home with someone who has a little bit of patience and time to work with me and give me that extra TLC that I need. Could that be you?
