Meet Red Lady; a lovely, 8 year old, Dachshund mix girl weighing 30 pounds and is just a greying dear, dear girl. All Red Lady wants is to find love and acceptance in her senior years. Her story is that she came from a situation where her owner left her, along with other dogs, in their abandoned house that was also inhabited by many Copperhead snakes. Red Lady has a heart murmur and is on some very inexpensive meds daily to prevent it from progressing unnecessarily. So maybe she is not your next senior beauty queen, but she will steal your heart with her beautiful temperament and soul that exudes a hunger for love and kindness. She is good around other dogs, cats and kids. She is leashed trained, housetrained and crate trained. She is just waiting for a real forever home; a place of unconditional love with someone who will let her snuggle under the covers for the rest of her life. Someone with an unconditional heart to love her despite her imperfections. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.
