Chip's Info...

Chip's Story...
Chip began his life living outdoors as a feral kitten, but after 4 weeks was rescued along with his sister, Minka, and their Mama. All three are looking for their forever home. Chip is approximately 7 weeks old now. He is gray and white and looks like he will grow to be a medium to long haired cat. He has gray eyes and has white-tipped paws and a white chest. He is happy and playful and enjoys scratching on his cat tree and chasing his sister. He is curious, as most kittens are, but he minds well. Chip has been living indoors for just over 2 weeks now and is litter box trained. He is a sweet boy and would love to find his forever home soon! He does not have any of his shots yet and will need to be neutered. He has lived a small portion of his life outdoors (about 4 weeks) and would only like to live indoors from now on. Chip would LOVE to find his forever home soon. His sister, Minka, is also available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chip, a Jasper Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Jasper, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Jasper.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jasper already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jasper breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jasper paves the way for another one to be saved.
