Jonathan (Foster)'s Story...
Jonathan is a amazingly sweet cat that just craves attention. He is not offended by anything. He has no sense of fear and will go anywhere and meet anyone. However, life isn't perfect for Jonathan. He appears to suffer from mild seizures and he has what looks like a nervous tick. We had him stay with a vet for over a week and they didn't see anything. However in foster we finally noticed the seizures. We have treated for the obvious and simple things, but without an MRI we may likely never know what's behind the seizures.

He's safe in our rescue, but we're hoping to find someone who wants to help this little love bug. He is probably the most affectionate, and loving cats we've had in the rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jonathan (Foster), a Exton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Exton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Exton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Exton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Exton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Exton paves the way for another one to be saved.
