JellyBean:  A362424-  Hi!  I’m the friendliest little kitten you’ll meet, though my littermates may think they are…. I am a beautiful mostly gray little boy with white markings just like a Tuxedo.   Don’t I have the cutest little face with an adorable gray nose to match my gray mask.  I was probably born around October 1st, so I’m still just a baby.  I LOVE attention!  I’m litterbox trained (of course).  I’m quite the cuddler and absolutely love to be rubbed—especially my belly—as you can see from my picture.  I use both a cardboard and a sisal scratcher and am very gentle.  I think I’d get along great with kids and even a nice doggy.  My littermates and I have so much fun playing together.  We are very gentle.  I think I’m the perfect combination of lover and player.  You can cradle me in your arms and carry me and I’ll stay until I just need to play! If you don’t have anyone at home to keep me company while you’re away, you might even consider adopting one of my littermates, too.  Did you know that 2 kittens are twice the fun and just as easy as one!  If you look at my pictures… there’s one with the whole gang.   My adoption fee is only $40.00 and includes my neuter surgery, all basic shots, including rabies and an id chip implanted.  Please email my foster mom to arrange a playdate.

About Kindness For Cats Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

Kindness For Cats Inc is a small nonprofit organization that participates in the Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) foster program providing temporary nurturing homes for at least a few of the countless kittens and cats abandoned there. We attempt to find permanent loving homes for these kittens and cats so that they will not have to return to OCAS when their time in foster care is done.

We also strongly promote spay/neuter to help fight the battle against unwanted felines, and attempt to inform the general public regarding the daunting problem of pet overpopulation. For low cost spay/neuter options (cat neuter for only $10, spay for $20) please visit the OCAS website for more information www.orangecountyfl.net/cms/DEPT/CEsrvcs/animal/surgerydisclaim.htm

*** Please note we do not take in any animals outside of OCAS due to limited resources and space. We are involved with OCAS as we feel that is where the greatest need is given that in one year alone over 24,000 unwanted pets and/or strays were brought to OCAS and only 6560 of those were adopted or reclaimed. The remaining 17,732 were either euthanized or died at the shelter (statistics - www.orangecountyfl.net/cms/DEPT/CEsrvcs/animal/stats.htm).

If you are looking for assistance with feral cats/kittens we suggest that you contact Care Feline Rescue www.carefelinerescue.org/ which is a nonprofit that works only with feral and stray cats. ***

Come Meet Our Pets...

You may visit the kittens and cats at their foster parent's homes; appointments are flexible and set at a time convenient to the potential adoptor and the foster parent. For more information or to set up an appointment, please email the foster parent listed in the description of the kitten or cat that you are interested in.

Our Adoption Process...

Most of the animals in our care are foster animals from Orange County Animal Services (OCAS), in other words the property of OCAS. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and must submit the form in person at OCAS directly. The adoption fee for OCAS kittens & cats is $40, one of the requirements is verification of pet policy if the potential adoptor rents.

The adoption fee of $40 for the OCAS kittens & cats includes spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies, de-worming, de-fleaing, testing for feline leukemia, and an AVID chip (ID for lost pets). The OCAS foster kittens & cats featured on this website are currently staying with their foster parent. Please contact the foster parent listed in the kitten/cat's description for more information on the kitten/cat that you are interested in. We may also have a limited number of kittens & cats that we are showing on our website as courtesy listing; their adoption fees may vary due to expenses incurred in preparing the kittens/cats for adoption.
