My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Hershey Kiss. I am such a sweet little girl. I am a very unique in many ways. One is that I'm a black tabby kitten, which is a rare coloring. When the light is just right, you can see the black-on-black stripes in my fur. I am a social, friendly little kitten. I love to hang out with people and to be petted and brushed. My favorite place is a nice warm lap or sitting on your shoulder watching my foster siblings. I am a people-oriented kitten. I do enjoy companionship and other kitties, too. I love to chase the laser light and pounce on toys. I get along with other kitties and love to wrestle with my sibling Musketeer. I would love to find a forever home with him. I use the litterbox like a good kitty and hope to find a forever home soon. Adoption fee: $100. Adopt a pair: $150. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
