Banjo's Story...
Hi Im Banjo! Aren't I handsome? I'm about two years old - a Dalmatian/Lab mix. I'm a small boy at about 36 pounds.

I love to play. I'm good with other dogs - never been around cats. I love to run and play so a fenced in back yard would be just great. I'd also make a good exercise companion. I can get a little competitive over food so I just need to be fed separately if you have another dog in the house. I am housebroken, know some commands and am over the puppy nonsense. I'm in great health and ready for a new home.

If you'd like to meet me, please email daldoglady@netzero.net. You must fill out an Adoption Application on www.dalrescuetampabay.org so we have all your info. Home and vet checks required. My adoption donation is $150.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Banjo, a Tampa Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Dalmatian/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
