Maggie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Maggie's Story...
Meet Maggie! She is about five years old and was recently rescued by The Shelter Animal Project when her owner fell on hard times and lost his home. Maggie was saved from a high volume shelter 4 years ago, and has lived happily in a home with feline and a bossy Chihuahua. She has a wonderful temperament but is more comfortable with smaller dogs. She is spayed, vaccinated, crate trained and housebroken. Maggie would make a wonderful addition to someone looking for a more mature dog with a great personality!

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please fill out an Adoption Screening Form.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Trenton Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Trenton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
