My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR welcomes Tierney into the safety of the rescue!!!

Tierney is a female Shepherd mix who is 7 months old and 32 lbs. She was brought to a shelter with a collar embedded in her neck which was quite painful for her. IDGSR has taken on other medical cases and we knew we had to help Tierney. She's now fully recovered from the surgery that removed the collar and despite what she has been through, her foster mom describes her as a sweetheart and has this to say about her:

"She is amazing. She is housebroken and exhibits zero stress. She did great at the vet today. She loves people. She met about 25 people yesterday including kids and did great. She does well with large and midsize dogs. We have not been around small dogs. She only wants to play with my cats. My 12 year old neighbor took her for a walk today and she loved it. She is very petite and would be great for somebody wanting the Shepherd attitude and intelligence without the size."

With her wonderful temperament and love of everyone, Tierney would fit easily into any household. She loves her foster home but is ready to find a family of her own to love. If you would like to make Tierney part of your family, please copy the link and fill out an application.
