My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey guys! My name is Penne. I'm an 11 month old spayed female Basenji mix. I weigh 35 pounds - not too big, not too small. I'm the perfect size.

I would describe myself as happy, sweet, playful and super friendly. I'm very active and outgoing! I try to make new friends where ever I go. I just love people and I get along great with other dogs, too! I'm the total package, a pretty adorable package! I'm looking for someone who likes to explore and wants to go on adventures with me. Also, I wouldn't mind a professional belly rubber. Could that be you?

My story is short, but not so sweet. I was found as a stray in South Los Angeles. I was picked up and brought to the local shelter. I had no collar or microchip. After a couple of weeks at the shelter, CageFree got me out of there, brought me to their facility, and offered to find me a new home. Of course, I accepted! I’m having tons of fun here, playing and running around with my friends. But you know what would be even better? Finding a forever home of my own!
