Ranger's Story...
Ranger was a victim of a court case which resulted in him spending 4 months of his puppyhood in a kennel. He will need patience as he adjusts to a home again but he is only 10-12 months old and just a baby that deserves love! Ranger is outgoing, social, loves to play, listens good, food motivated, decent on leash, and will need help with refreshing him on house training. He would truly benefit from an obedience class as he does display some fearful behavior and will take a few to warm up to you! Was in a home with other dogs but a meet and greet is suggested.

Ranger is a Husky/Pit mix and not neutered. His adoption fee is $100 which includes a $50 refundable neuter deposit.

Located at 2396 W Genesee Street, Lapeer, Mi. Adoption hours are M-F 9:30-12, 12:30-4:30 with the exception of Wednesday the shelter closes at noon. Saturday hours are 9am-2pm. For more information please call 810-667-0236.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ranger, a Lapeer Husky/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lapeer, or seeking a Husky/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lapeer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lapeer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lapeer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Husky/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lapeer paves the way for another one to be saved.
